Why does my Bissell Vacuum Cleaner have a loss of suction power?
- JJames ConradJul 29, 2025
There are several reasons why your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner might be experiencing a loss of suction power: * The tanks may not be seated properly. Remove both tanks and reseat them to ensure they fit correctly. * The dirty tank may have reached its maximum capacity. Empty the dirty tank, making sure to use slow, back-and-forth cleaning passes. * The brush window might not be latched in place. Turn the power off, unplug the machine, and reinstall the brush window. * The debris channel in the foot could be clogged. Clean the channel with a paper towel. * The filter may be clogged by debris. Remove any debris clogging the filter screen and clean the filter.
