2 About this machine
2.1 Intended use
The slicers in the VS12 series are technical tools exclusively intended for commercial use.
They may only be operated by instructed personnel over the age of 14.
The VS12 series includes all types listed in the enclosed declaration of conformity.
The vertical slicers are manually operated; the product is sliced by moving the carriage for-
wards and backwards.
Approved sliced products, taking sizes into consideration
–
All kinds of cold cuts, deli meat
– Ham, bacon
– Smoked ham with / without rind
– Roast meats, roast beef
– Meat, roulades
– Sliceable cheese
– Bread
– Fruit, vegetables
Remark: If cheese is the main product being sliced, we recommend using a special
cheese blade.
The following may not be sliced due to risk of injury and damage:
– NON-FOOD articles
– Bone-in products
– Products that include hard components (e.g. stone fruit)
– Frozen products

260 x 224 mm (W x H) or 224 mm diameter (VS12, VS12W, VS12F33, VS12F33/W)
315 x 260 mm (W x H) or 270 mm diameter (VS12F)
360 x 290 mm (W x H) or 270 mm diameter (VS12F37)
320 x 260 mm (W x H) or 270mm diameter (VS12F-P)
325 x 260 mm (W x H) or 270mm diameter (VS12F37-P)
Applications
The slicers in the VS12 series are intended for installation in the sales area. Installation in
preparation areas is permissible, making allowances for a cleaning plan and protection
type IP 33.
Permissible ambient temperatures from -10°C up to 40°C.
