the threshold

eonduetion slightly
sooner than
in
the
free
running
state. The
same
prineiple
applies for
displaying
and
synehronizing
more
or less
than three eyeles,
and for
sine waves
or other types of

forms.
The SIVEEP
RANGE seleetion and
lNoRl

SWEEP
VARI adjustment must
first be
set
to a
point
near
synehronization; then
the syne
signal
loeks
the sweep
into
synehronization.
Aetually,
for
proper
syneronization,
the
period
of the sweep
generator
(in
its free running
state) must
be a little longer
than the
tirne
between
syne
pulses
(or
some
multiple of syne
pulses
when more
than
one eyele is
viewed).
Syne Cireuit
The
syne
signal may
originate from
the
vertieal
ehannel or an
external
syne
.signal
applied
at the EXT SYNC
jaek.
One
or the
other
may be seleeted by the
INT-EXT switeh,
