Allow

15 minutes
of warm
up
time
for the
unit
to stabilize
before
making this adjustment.

the operating

as
follows:

RANGE

position

With no
signal
applied,
a
traee shquld
be
present
on
the CRT.
Rotate the
V GAIN
eontrol
baek and
forth from
one extreme
to
the other,
and
observe
if the traee
shifts
up and
down.
If the
traee shifts
in step
4, adjust
DC
BAL trimmer
VR101
for
minimum
shift-
ing
of the traee
as the
V GAIN
eontrol
is
rotated.
For easiest
adjustment'
start
with
the V GAIN
eontrol
fully
eounter-
eloekwise.
Repeat
adjustm
ent
until
shifting
of the
traee
is
minimized.
VRl01 is aeeessible
through
a
hole
in the
bottom of the
ehassis
as
shown
in Fig.
1

be removed,
and
VRl01
is loeated as
shown
in Fig.
