CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning. We
recommend monthly cleaning of your Air cooler and Filter to keep in best working
condition.
IMPORTANT: If you see mold on the lter or notice a musty smell, stop and clean the
lter before further use. Fully submerge the lter in a pot or bowl lled with equal
parts clean water and white vinegar- allow to soak for 45-60 minutes. Rinse with
warm water, wring out and let air dry.
CLEANING THE EXTERIOR
• The exterior of the air cooler should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use any
harsh detergents or solvents.
CLEANING THE WATER TANK
• The water tank should be emptied regularly. Clean the water tank with a mild
soap and water solution. Rinse and dry thoroughly before adding clean water and
reinstalling in the unit.
CLEANING THE FILTER
Two ways to clean your lter:
1. Dishwasher: Place lter in the top rack of your dishwasher and run the cycle
normally. Remove and let air dry.
2. Hand wash: Hand wash gently with soap and warm water. Shake out excess and let
air dry
3. Between washes: Sanitize your lter by placing in a microwave on high for 30
second increments, up to 2 minutes. Let sit until cool.
NOTE: If you see mold on your lter or notice a musty smell, stop and clean the lter
before further use. Fully submerge the lter in a pot or bowl lled with equal
parts clean water and white vinegar. Allow to soak for 45-60 minutes. Rinse
with warm water, wring out and let air dry.
