Also, verify the spark plug wire is attached and the engine switch is in the 'on' position. Lastly, confirm the fuel valve is open.

  If your Black & Decker Pressure Washer has no or low pressure upon initial use, several things could be the cause. Ensure the spray wand is set to high pressure. Confirm that the water supply is at least 5 GPM @ 20 psi. Check for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and repair them, applying sealant tape if needed. Clean the water filter screen if it's clogged. Remove any air from the hose by disconnecting the water source, turning it on until a steady stream appears, then reconnecting it and squeezing the trigger. Move the choke to the 'No Choke' position. Also, make sure that the high pressure hose is under 100 feet (30 m).
