Why do I have to constantly change the delay on my Black Hawk FS Future Metal Detector?

  There are a few reasons why you might have to constantly change the delay on your Black Hawk Metal Detector. It could be due to an area with higher mineralization causing the delay to be reset. Changing the delay usually occurs after a strong signal is received or if you accidentally change the setting. Also, when the unit was balanced to the ground, it may have been either too low or too high above the ground.

  If you are not hearing any tones from your Black Hawk Metal Detector, check that the volume is loud enough and that a coil is properly attached. If there is no coil, the unit will remain silent. Also, inspect the coil cable for any tears. You may also need to ground balance the unit again, as an adjustment knob might have been accidentally turned.
