How to fix bad odor in Blomberg WM67120 Washer drum and dispenser?

  Such odor and bacteria layer may be formed on the drum as a result of continuous washing at lower temperatures and/or in short programs. Leave the dispenser drawer as well as the loading door ajar after each washing. Thus, a humid environment favorable for bacteria cannot be created inside the machine. For monthly cleaning procedure of the drum, See 'Cleaning the Drum'. Wash and clean the dispenser with warm water frequently (See 'Cleaning Detergent Dispenser').

  The door may not be properly closed, or the door hinge is not aligned with the lock switch. Check for any bulky or large items obstructing the door from closing.

Why is my Blomberg Washer not spinning?

  An imbalance of load in the drum may prevent spinning. The laundry may be tangled up too much, so rearrange and re-spun it. Unbalance detection due to 1-2 small items in the drum (uneven load distribution) can cause this, so add more laundry (e.g. a few additional towels). A folded drain hose can also be the issue, so check and straighten it. The 'No spin' setting may be adjusted; see 'Spin Speed Selection'. The drain pump filter or drain itself may be clogged; clean the drain pump filter, and if the house drain pipes are clogged, call a plumber.

  An imbalance of load in the drum can cause this. The automatic spin correction system might have been activated due to the unbalanced distribution of the laundry in the drum. Also, the laundry in the drum may be tangled up too much. Laundry should be rearranged and re-spun. No spinning is performed when the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum to prevent any damage to the appliance and to its environment.

  The drain hose might be folded, so check it and straighten if needed. Also, the drain pump filter or drain itself could be clogged. Clean the drain pump filter, and if the house drain pipes are clogged, contact a plumber.
