Why is my Blueridge Air Conditioner not cooling properly?
    • B
      Billy BlanchardAug 7, 2025
If your Blueridge Air Conditioner isn't cooling well, several factors could be the cause. The temperature setting might be higher than the room's ambient temperature. The heat exchanger on either the indoor or outdoor unit could be dirty, requiring cleaning. A dirty air filter can also reduce performance; remove and clean it as instructed. Obstructions blocking the air inlet or outlet should be removed after turning the unit off and then back on. Ensure doors and windows are closed to prevent heat entry, and use curtains to block excessive sunlight. Reduce the number of heat sources in the room, and check for refrigerant leaks, resealing if necessary and topping off the refrigerant. Finally, ensure the SILENCE function is deactivated.

If your Blueridge Air Conditioner starts and stops frequently, you should check for leaks and recharge the system with refrigerant. Another solution is to evacuate and recharge the system with refrigerant. You may also need to replace the compressor or install a manostat to regulate the voltage.
