to enlarge the storage com-
partment, e.g. to stow a motor-
cycle helmet.
The floor 2 lowers.
The vehicle cannot be started
while the floor is lowered.
When the ignition is
switched on, the storage
compartment symbol is
displayed.

flexcase open. Close BMW
flexcase. is displayed.
The BMW flexcase accommo-
dates an integral helmet.
A jet helmet can be stowed in
the front part of the storage
compartment as shown.
Close the seat.
To resume the trip, open the
seat.
