Commissioning
following extended
stoppages
If an extended stoppage is scheduled, you should contact BOGE-Service
beforehand.
Following an extended stoppage of more than 2 months, fill a small amount
of oil in the suction controller prior to starting the compressor.
CAUTION!
Only fill the suction controller with the grade of oil used to operate the com-
pressor.
Never mix different oil grades and brands.
DANGER: Risk of injury!
Switch off main switch and secure against unintentional switching-on.
– Unscrew the plug on the suction controller .
– The following quantities of compressor oil have to be filled into the intake
regulator:
approx. 0.13 gallon for models S 31-2 – S 60-2
approx. 0.65 gallon for models S 61-2 – S 100-2
approx. 1.30 gallon for models S 101 – S 150
approx. 2.10 gallon for models S 151 – S 220 / SF 220
approx. 2.65 gallon for models S 271 – S 341
approx. 0.13 gallon for models SF 40-2 – SF 60-2
approx. 0.65 gallon for models SF 100-2
approx. 1.30 gallon for models SF 150
– Reclose the controller using the plug.
– Turn the air end by hand 5 to 10 times to distribute the oil evenly.
