Why is Borg & Overstrom b4 dispensing water continuously?
    • L
      Luis KellerSep 23, 2025
If your Borg & Overstrom water dispenser is dispensing water continuously from the ambient, cold, or hot water valve, it could be due to a button being jammed or faulty. Replace the PCB or button panel as needed. Alternatively, debris may be blocking a hole in the diaphragm window, so dismantle the valve and clean it out.

Why are there no LED control lights on my Borg & Overstrom Water Dispenser?
    • K
      kristen47Aug 25, 2025
If there are no LED control lights, first, ensure the machine is receiving electricity by checking the power supply and reconnecting it if necessary. Then check the fuse in the IEC socket and replace it if needed. If the problem persists, the control PCB may not be working and may need to be checked and replaced.

    Jacob ThomasAug 25, 2025
Why is the cold water not cold in my Borg & Overstrom b4?
    • H
      hoffmanbrianAug 26, 2025
If the cold water is not cold, check if the cooling is switched on. Also, the thermostat might be set too high, so try decreasing the cold thermostat set point. If these steps don't work, the thermostat itself might not be working and may need checking and replacing.

How to fix no water from the ambient valve on a Borg & Overstrom b4 Water Dispenser?
    • H
      hernandezcoreyAug 27, 2025
If no water is coming from the ambient valve, first check that the water supply is turned on by ensuring all taps, valves, and filters on the incoming supply are properly fitted and open. Also, verify that the dispenser has electricity/power supply by checking the power cord connection and that the machine is switched on.

What to do if no water comes out of the cold valve on my Borg & Overstrom b4?
    • T
      Tina WeissAug 27, 2025
If no water is coming from the cold valve, first carry out the same checks and actions as you would for the ambient tap. Additionally, the chiller tank might be frozen due to a malfunctioning thermostat or pump. If frozen, thaw it out and check the thermostat or tank pump. Replace the cold water thermostat or pump and check the electricity supply to the pump. Finally, if a leak detector is fitted, check for internal leakage, ensure the probes are dry, and reset the system.

Why is my Borg & Overstrom b4 leaking water?
    • H
      Heather SmithSep 12, 2025
If your Borg & Overstrom water dispenser is leaking, here are a few potential causes and solutions: * Check if the drip tray waste container is overflowing and empty it. Also, ensure the drainpipe is not blocked. * Inspect the supply inlet pipe work and filter for leaks and repair as needed. * Examine the machine's water pipe work fittings for leaks and repair accordingly. Also, level sensors may not be working and may need to be checked, repaired or replaced.

What to do if Borg & Overstrom b4 Water Dispenser tripping out electricity supply?
    • K
      Kristen BuckSep 13, 2025
If your Borg & Overstrom water dispenser is tripping the electricity supply, the machine may be in a high humidity environment, so discuss possible repositioning with the customer. Also, test, identify and address any electrical circuitry faults. See Electrical Diagrams.

Why is my Borg & Overstrom b4 making a bleeping noise?
    • Z
      zchavezSep 4, 2025
If the machine is bleeping, and a level sensor is fitted, the tank may be full. Empty the level sensor tank.
  • T
    Tony SmithSep 2, 2025
Why does my Borg & Overstrom Water Dispenser shake when starting up?
    • A
      Adam RichardsonSep 2, 2025
Shaking during start-up can be normal as the compressor starts. However, ensure the machine is on a level surface; use the adjustable feet to level it if the surface is uneven. Also, check for and replace any missing fixings.
