Operating indicators and error
messages
Main switch indicator lit. Appliance ready for use.
Main switch indicator and all
“power on/off” indicators lit.
All the burners are switched on or
are still hot.
“Power on/off” indicator in one
burner lit.
Residual heat indicator, the burner
is still hot.
The childproof lock indicator light
comes on.
Childproof locks activated.
Main switch indicator lit, “power on/
off” indicator in one burner flashes.
Burner cannot be reignited (dirty,
boiled-over liquid on the burner,
burner parts not correctly
positioned, strong draught).
Main switch indicator off, “power
on/off” indicator on one burner
flashes.
Control error, control knob opened
without first turning on the main
switch -or - safety shut off –
appliance was in use for over 6
hours.
Main switch indicator and all
“power on/off” indicators flash
simultaneously.
Overheating protection – turn all
control knobs to 0 and allow the
appliance to cool until the “power
on/off” indicator goes out or
switches over to the residual
heat
indicator.
Main switch indicator off, all “power
on/off” indicators flash one after
the other.
Electronics fault – turn all control
knobs to 0, reset the appliance
(press the main switch twice). If the
displays still flash, contact the
Technical Assistance Service.
