change makes the operation of custom
functions on D1260 Keypads easier to
program.
D1260 Keypad Enhancements: D1260 or
D1260B Keypads do not need to check the
control panel firmware revision when
communicating with GV2 Series Control
Panels. Therefore, the Display Revision
(COMMAND 59) keypad (command center)
function can be password protected or
disabled.
D1260 Keypad Enhancements: The GV2
Series Control Panels support multiple
unsupervised D1260 or D1260B Keypads at
the same SDI address.
3.0 Known Issues
When a faulted local point is force armed, the
central station receives a Forced Close
Report for that point. In the current version,
the control panel does not send Forced Close
Reports for faulted local points.
In addition, if both a local and a non-local
point are faulted and force armed, the
control panel does not send Forced Armed,
Forced Point, or Forced Close Reports for the
non-local point.
A point is local if it is configured as:
Local While Armed
=
Yes
Local While Disarmed
=
Yes
On the D1260 and D1260B Keypads, the
Setup?> menu under the Service Menu
(99 + ENTER), is currently unavailable. The
default values for the Bright Dim mode are
Bright = 10 and Dim = 3.
On the D1260 and D1260B Keypads, when
the Sensor Reset command (COMMAND 47)
is executed, Call for Service appears
erroneously on the display for a brief time.
This effect also occurs when the control
panel reboots.
Change the Service Passcode (User ID 0)
factory default value when the ANSI SIA CP-
01 required Passcode Length parameter is 4
or greater.
Using a D1260 Keypad to View Point Status
on a GV2 Series control panel with firmware
versions 7.03, 7.04 or 7.05 causes the keypad
to become unresponsive if any area contains
only one point. You can use View Point Status
to scroll through the system’s points until
you reach the point that is the only point in
an area. When you reach this point, the
Previous and Next buttons do not function. If
you press the
Exit button, the system returns
to normal operation. For resolution
information, refer to Unresponsive D1260
Keypad Technical Bulletin (P/N: TBI 02-09-07
01), available on the Bosch Security Systems,
Inc. Web site (
www.boschsecurity.us).
The
RG#1 Attempt
feature is not available.
The prompts should remain at their default
values.
With a v7.05 or v7.06 D9412GV2 or
D7412GV2 control panel, starting and
stopping a Fire Walk test command within
the 60-sec Power-up Standby window causes
all 24-hour and fire points within the scope of
the command to be erroneously and
automatically bypassed, regardless of the
point’s configuration.
With a v7.06 or earlier D9412GV2 or
D7412GV2 control panel, if a network
interface module (NIM) is programmed as a
Primary Device in any Route Group, follow
these programming rules:
- Assign Enhanced Communication Path 1
as the Primary Device in Route Group 1.
- Assign Enhanced Communication Path 2
as the Primary Device in Route Group 2.
- Assign Enhanced Communication Path 3
as the Primary Device in Route Group 3.
- Assign Enhanced Communication Path 4
as the Primary Device in Route Group 4.
When all areas associated with an account
are armed Master Delay or Master Instant,
the keypads in those areas display the text
programmed in the
Area # Acct Is On
prompt. The control panel is supposed to
provide a way to alternately use the display
text programmed in the
Area # is On prompt
under the same conditions, but this feature is
not yet available.
When the control panel is upgraded from
V7.06 and earlier to V7.07 and later, the
AC
Fail Display
prompt defaults to 150 sec
instead of to the intended factory default of
60 sec.
The
Easy Exit
feature was disabled in
firmware version 7.07 to address the issues
