5.7.21 Changing the filter

When approx. 50 l of water have
run through (corresponds to
approx. 400 brews) or after
2 months at the latest, the effect of
the filter is depleted.

Remedial action:
Changing the water filter
OR
continue operation without filter.
Change settings on the appliance
accordingly.
Note:
Descaling and cleaning
programmes are disabled while
this display is lit.
5.7.22 Error 1
Upper symbol is lit,
lower row flashes:
Error 1
NTC temperature sensor is out-
side the measurement range.

Appliance too cold (< 5 °C) or NTC
defective (short-circuit).
The message is indicated when
the appliance has been switched
on and initialised.
If the ambient temperature is too
low, the message goes out when
the appliance has warmed up to
room temperature.
