Connecting headphones
Headphones plug into the connector on the front of the RIGHT speaker
(Figure 6). Inserting the plug mutes sound from the speakers.

WARNING: Long-term exposure to loud music may cause hearing
damage. It is best to avoid extreme volume levels when using headphones,
especially for extended periods.
Controlling the volume
You can raise or lower the volume of the speakers or a connected head-
phone by turning the knob on the front of the RIGHT speaker (Figure 7).
Turn it right to raise and left to lower the volume.

On your computer or an optional sound source, set the volume at about
two-thirds the maximum volume. Then use the knob on the RIGHT
speaker to adjust the volume as you listen.
