When the remote stops operating or its range seems
reduced, it is time
to
change the remote battery.
Replacing
the
remote
control
battery
The
SoundDocJ<®
Series
II
digital music system features a
removable universal insert. This insert can accommodate most
iPod models. For a custom fit, use your insert supplied by Apple.
To
remove the universal insert, put your fingernail
(as
shown)
in
the slot (or gently use a thin object) and pull up.
Using
an
Apple
insert
Cleaning
the
system
1.
Using a coin, turn the battery cover
slightly counterclockwise.
2.
Remove the used battery and
replace with a new battery (CR2032
or DL2032). Refer
to
page
ii
for
battery safety instructions. Be sure
the battery is flat side up, with the +
symbol
in
view.
3.
Reseat the cover and turn it
clockwise until it locks into place.
Wipe the system using a soft, dry cloth.
You
can also lightly
vacuum the grille.
Do not use solvents, chemicals, or sprays.
Do not allow liquids
to
spill or objects
to
drop into any
openings.
