Why is my Bostitch BRN175 tool jamming frequently?

  If your Bostitch Nail Gun is jamming frequently, there might be several reasons. First, ensure you are using the correct fasteners of the right size and with a 15° collation angle. Damaged fasteners or a bent collation wire can also cause jams, so replace them with undamaged ones. Check if the canister or nose screws are loose and tighten them if necessary. A dirty canister can also lead to jams, so clean the magazine. Lastly, a worn or damaged driver tip could be the culprit; in this case, install a Driver Maintenance Kit.

  If your Bostitch Nail Gun is not working or seems sluggish, the issue could stem from a few causes. Make sure the air supply is adequate. Insufficient lubrication can also cause this, so try putting 5 to 7 drops of oil into the air inlet. Finally, inspect for worn or damaged o-rings or seals, and if found, install an Overhaul Kit.
