HF cable
1. Check the connector for damage and corrosion.
2. Visually inspect the insulation for damage.

Risk of patient burns with brittle or defective insulation!

Replace instrument components with damaged
insulation.
Jaw insert
1. Check the jaws A1 for proper opening and closing.
2. Visually inspect the ball on drawrod A4 for damage.
3. Check the insulation of drawrod A4 for damage.
4. Check whether the shank tube A4 is bent.
Shank tube
1. Visually inspect the insulation for damage.
2. Check whether the shank tube B is bent.
Handle
1. Check the ratchet lever C1, locking lever C3 and
buttons C4 for ease of motion.
2. Check cable connector C2 for damage and corrosion.
HF cable
1. Check the connector for damage and corrosion.
2. Visually inspect the insulation for damage.
