7.16 Vacuum Pump

The vacuum pump is a liquid ring pump that needs a certain amount of liquid to operate.
The vacuum pump evacuates the distillation system. The vacuum pump on-times are regulated over the
vacuum pressure controls and over the machine control system.
7.16.1 Operating Material Tank:
The operating material tank supplies the vacuum pump with the liquid it needs for operating.
