14. Once removed the lter separation
plate will spring up to give access to
the lower lter. The plate can be rotated
upwards for better access (Figure 3).
15. Remove and discard the lower True
HEPA lter (Figure 4).
16. Insert two new True HEPA lters. Insert
the bottom lter rst, then insert the top
lter (Figure 5).
17. To reattach the back panel cover, align
and mount the cover into the base of
the appliance rst, and then push the
top of the panel against the appliance
(Figure 6).
18. Plug the unit and turn the power ON.
19. To reset the lter status on the air
purier, press and hold the night mode
button for 3 seconds. The air purier
will beep once. The lter replacement
indicator light will ash and beep 3
times and then turn off. The air purier
is ready for use.

Warning: Only use the original Breville
lter model BAPF70 specially intended for
this appliance. Do not use any other lters.

Problem Cause Solution
The air purier is not
working.
The appliance is not plugged in. Check if unit is properly plugged in
and outlet is working.
The appliance is not switched on. Make sure unit is turned ON.
The lters are not properly
installed.

The panel cover is not fully
assembled.
Check that the back panel cover
is correctly assembled. Align and
mount the cover into the base of
the appliance rst, and then push
the top of the panel against the
appliance (Figure 6).
The air ow has
decreased.
The air intake grille and ltered air
outlet may be obstructed.
Turn OFF and unplug the
appliance. Remove any
obstructions blocking the air intake
grille and ltered air outlet.
The lter is nearing the end of its
useful product life.
Check the condition of the lters
and replace if necessary.
Pre-installed lters are covered by
a protective plastic packaging.
Check lters to remove any plastic
packaging and re-install the lters.
The air purier is making
a loud noise.
Pre-installed lters are covered by
a protective plastic packaging.
Check lters to remove any plastic
packaging and re-install the lters.
The ioniser function is operating. This is normal and occurs when a
small buildup of ions is discharged.
