If your Brinkmann Grill isn't reaching the desired temperature, consider these potential causes: * Ensure the temperature control is properly adjusted by turning up the heat on the control dial. * Avoid opening the grill door too frequently, as this lets heat escape and slows down cooking. Open the door only when necessary. * If using an extension cord, make sure it's a 12/3 or 14/3 grounded-type with a rating of at least 15 amps, and use the shortest length possible. It's best to avoid extension cords unless absolutely necessary. * The electric element may be damaged and require replacement.
