What to do if my Brinkmann 810-6340-S doesn't get hot enough?
    • A
      Anthony MartinAug 18, 2025
If your Brinkmann Grill isn't reaching the desired temperature, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if your LP gas tank is empty and replace or refill it if necessary. Another possibility is that the flow limiting device might have been activated. To resolve this, try a mini reset by turning the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to the “OFF” position, waiting one minute, and then relighting the grill according to the lighting instructions. If the flames are still too low, perform a full reset: Turn everything off, disconnect the regulator, inspect the rubber seal, wait a minute, reconnect the regulator, perform a leak test, and then light the grill.

What to do if my Brinkmann 810-6340-S Grill has a grease fire?
    • R
      Regina HumphreyAug 26, 2025
If you experience a grease fire in your Brinkmann Grill, it's likely due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To handle it safely: 1. Turn all control knobs and the LP gas tank valve to the “OFF” position. 2. Leave the lid either open or closed and allow the fire to burn out. If necessary, use a BC type fire extinguisher, baking soda, sand, or dirt to smother the fire. 3. After the grill has cooled down completely, remove and clean all parts following the proper care and maintenance instructions.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Brinkmann 810-6340-S?
    • T
      Timothy HarrisAug 29, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your Brinkmann Grill can occur for several reasons. If it's a new burner, it may have residual manufacturing oils; burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi can also cause this; clean the venturi and burner assembly. Food residue or grease buildup can be another cause; clean the burner assembly. Finally, poor alignment of the valve to the burner venturi can be the issue; ensure the burner venturi is properly engaged with the valve.

Why does the flame blow out on my Brinkmann 810-6340-S?
    • J
      johnsonamandaAug 31, 2025
The flame on your Brinkmann Grill might be blowing out due to high or gusting winds; avoid using the grill in such conditions. It could also be due to low LP gas; replace or refill the tank. Obstructed burner holes can also cause this; refer to the burner assembly/maintenance instructions. Finally, the flow limiting device may have tripped; refer to the regulator resetting procedure.

Why is the inside of my Brinkmann Grill lid peeling?
    • M
      Mr. Bradley ValdezSep 7, 2025
The peeling on the inside of your Brinkmann Grill lid, resembling paint peeling, is likely due to baked-on grease buildup that has turned into carbon and is flaking off. A thorough cleaning, as per the proper care and maintenance instructions, should resolve this issue.

Why is there an irregular flame pattern on my Brinkmann Grill?
    • T
      Taylor CruzSep 12, 2025
An irregular flame pattern, where the flame doesn't run the full length of the burner on your Brinkmann Grill, is often due to clogged or blocked burner ports. Cleaning the burner ports should resolve this. Alternatively, the air shutter on the burner may need adjustment.

Why won't my Brinkmann 810-6340-S burner light?
    • M
      Mark GreenNov 14, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Brinkmann Grill burner from lighting. The LP gas tank valve might be closed, so ensure the regulator is securely attached and the valve is open. The tank could be low or empty; check and replace or refill if needed. A gas leak could be present; close the valve, wait 5 minutes, and follow the leak testing procedure. Other potential issues include a disconnected coupling nut and regulator, obstruction of gas flow (clean the burner assembly and check the hose), improperly seated burner, spider webs or insect nests in the venturi, clogged burner ports, a dead battery (replace it), cooking residue on wires or the electrode (clean with rubbing alcohol), wet electrode and burners (wipe them dry), a cracked or broken electrode (replace it), loose or disconnected wi...
