Why my Brinkmann 810-2512-S does not get hot enough?
    • J
      Jordan MyersAug 17, 2025
If your Brinkmann Grill isn't getting hot enough, begin by replacing or refilling the LP gas tank. If that doesn't solve the issue, a flow limiting device may have been activated. Try a Mini Reset by turning the control knobs and LP gas tank valve to “OFF”, waiting one minute, and then relighting the grill according to the lighting instructions. If the flames are still too low, perform a Full Reset: Turn off the control knobs and LP gas tank valve, disconnect the regulator from the propane tank, inspect the LP cylinder rubber seal, wait one minute, reconnect the regulator, perform a leak test on all connections, and then light the grill as instructed.

Why Brinkmann 810-2512-S flame is yellow or orange?
    • C
      christine40Aug 25, 2025
If the flame on your Brinkmann Grill is yellow or orange, it could be due to a few reasons. If it's a new burner, residual manufacturing oils may be present, so burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed. Also, check for spider webs or insect nests in the venturi and clean them out. Food residue or grease on the burner can also cause this issue, so clean the burner thoroughly. Ensure the burner venturi is properly engaged with the valve. Finally, the air shutter on the burner may need adjustment.

Why is the inside of my Brinkmann Grill lid peeling?
    • D
      Daniel ChandlerAug 27, 2025
If the inside of the lid on your Brinkmann Grill is peeling, it's likely due to baked-on grease buildup that has turned into carbon and is flaking off. To resolve this, clean the grill thoroughly following the proper care and maintenance instructions.

What causes flame blow out on Brinkmann 810-2512-S?
    • E
      ecolemanSep 10, 2025
If the flame is blowing out on your Brinkmann Grill, it could be due to high or gusting winds, so avoid using the grill in such conditions. Also, check if you're low on LP gas and replace or refill the tank if needed. The burner holes may be obstructed, and the flow limiting device might have tripped.

To address a burner that won't light on your Brinkmann Grill, first, ensure the LP gas tank valve is open and the regulator is securely attached. If the tank is low or empty, replace or refill it. Check for gas leaks, and if found, close the LP gas tank valve, wait 5 minutes, and follow the leak testing procedure. Also, make sure the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected. Clear any obstructions in the gas flow and ensure the burner is properly seated. Clean the venturi and burner tube if there are spider webs or insect nests, and clean any clogged or blocked burner ports. Replace the battery if needed, and clean any cooking residue from the wires or electrode. Wipe dry any wet electrodes and burners. If the electrode is cracked or broken, replace it.
