Booster Seat without Backrest
1� Ensure the booster seat is positioned in a location that has a
vehicle head restraint, and attach lower connectors as shown in
Positioning the Booster Seat on page 26�
2� Seat your child in the booster seat� The top of the child’s ears
must be below the top of the vehicle head restraint�
3� Pull the vehicle seat belt out, then route the lap part of the vehicle
seat belt under both armrests and over the left and right base
belt guides�
NOTE: The shoulder part of the vehicle seat belt should be routed
under the armrest on the buckle side.
4� Verify that the vehicle seat belt is not twisted and then fasten
across the child�
NOTE: The shoulder belt should lie across the center of the
child’s chest, and be positioned at or above the child’s shoulder.
