Field Description
backup advertisements received The number of VRRP backup advertisement packets received for a VRID
on a specic interface.
total number of vrrp packets sent The number of VRRP or VRRP-E advertisement packets sent by this
router for a VRID on a specic interface.
backup advertisements sent The number of VRRP backup advertisement packets sent by this router
for a VRID on a specic interface.
Displaying summary of key statistics
To display VRRP or VRRP-E statistics for each VRID congured on an interface, use the statistics keyword. The output will be similar for
VRRP and VRRP-E (IPv4 and IPv6); the output elds are the same.
The following example displays the output of the show ip vrrp statistics command:
device# show ip vrrp statistics
