Preparation before use
• Ensure that there is an allowance of
more than 31” behind the massage
chair and more than 31” in front of
the Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage
Chair to allow the backrest to recline
and the leg rest to extend without
obstruction during operation.
Caution
• It is recommended that a carpet be
placed under the Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage Chair to prevent scratching
the floor and to reduce noise level
during operation.
• As the Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage
Chair is heavy, please exercise extra
care not to damage the floor when
positioning it.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 3
feet from AV devices, such as a TV
or radio, to prevent signal
interference.
• Use the Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage
Chair only when it is placed on an
even, flat surface.
• Connect the power plug to the
electrical outlet. In the back of the
chair. Plug the power and into a
standand 110v electrical outlet.
• Turn on/off the main power switch,
located at the back of the Brookstone
Renew
TM
Massage Chair to power the
chair on / off.
• Ensure the power cord is not placed
under the Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage Chair.
• Ensure all switches are turned “OFF”
(including the main power switch)
before connecting the power plug to
an electrical outlet.
• Always check to ensure that there are
no holes or tears on the backrest pad.
Stop using the Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage Chair immediately if you find
even the slightest tear. Unplug the
Brookstone Renew
TM
Massage Chair
and contact Brookstone Customer
Service at 866-336-3199.
• Lift the backrest upholstery to ensure
that there are no holes or tears on the
backrest pad.
