The Brother TN-2110 toner cartridge, TN-2120, HL-2140, HL-2170 has a side filler hole (Fig. 1). In the
original state, the cap of the filling opening is taped with a paper label. Remove the label and the
sealing plug. It is important to remove all residual toner from the toner cartridge. Suck it off
thoroughly with the toner vacuum cleaner. To avoid later clumping of the toner. Then you can fill the
new toner into the laser cartridge. After you have finished refilling, close the filling opening with the
previously removed sealing plug.
IMPORTANT: The toner cartridges TN-2110 and TN-2120 must be absolutely leak proof. By gently
tapping on a piece of white paper, check the tightness of the cartridge PLUG. It must not trickle
toner powder from the cartridge.
Now the reset lever on the other side of the Toner Cartridge of the Brother TN-2110, TN-2120, HL-
2140, HL-2170 must be returned to its original position
First Remove the three screws and remove the cover see ( fig1) then turn the reset lever to the
position showed in (fig 3) Then reassemble back onto the cartridge making sure the gears are intact.
