 Tilting and Trim – Manual Tilt Models
Engage
1) Move the tilt/run lever to TILT position.
2) Tilt the outboard UP.
3) Push tilt support bracket to “lock” position.
Flip the tilt lock lever down.
4) Lower the outboard until the tilt lock lever
rests solidly on the stern brackets.
Disengage
1) Move tilt/run lever to RUN position.
2) Tilt the outboard UP.
3) Pull tilt support bracket to “unlock” posi-
tion. Flip the tilt lock lever up.
4) Lower the outboard to operating position.
