The following software modules are available for upgrading the Mediator:
● Frequency Analysis Software BZ7123 – general purpose module for scanning 1/1-
and 1/3-octave bands. BZ7123 requires the 1/1-octave and 1/3-octave filter set
(2238 MUF). If the Filter Set has already been installed, you can order BZ7123
alone. Refer to ordering information in the associated Product Data sheet.
● Logging SLM Software BZ7124 – allows a large range of parameters to be logged.
This module allows logging of all relevant parameters from Enhanced SLM Soft-
ware BZ7125.
● Enhanced SLM Software BZ7125 – adds a number of powerful features to the
basic version. including: statistics, back-erase function and the possibility of two
simultaneous RMS measurements.
1.7 Changing Application
Push the key to display the System menu from which you can select the desired
application module.
1.8 Installing, Upgrading, or Removing Applications
Use software “2238 Mediator Software”, Order Number VP7767. To start the program:
● Press Windows Start button, select Run.
● Enter the full path plus filename setup.exe <space> /r (the r is case sensi-
tive so type it in lower case only). The /r enables you to remove applications.
● Follow the instructions on the PC screen to install, upgrade or remove applica-
tions.
1.9 Specifications
Specifications can be found in Product Data Sheets BP1776 and in User Manuals
BB1119, BB1122, BB1125, and BB1128.
1.10 Filter Set
The 1/1-octave and 1/3-octave filter set is required with the frequency analysis mod-
ule, but the filter set can be installed and used with all modules. In this case the
filter bands are available as a frequency weighting that can be selected manually.
