Place unit on a level base, at least 4 inches above roof to prevent flooding.
Mount unit level on a concrete slab, minimum 3 inches above finished grade.
Install vent cap assembly using gasket and vent stack extension, ensuring proper orientation.
Install separate gas supply line, choose pipe size for low pressure loss, use joint compound.
Ensure unit has an uninterrupted electrical ground per National Electrical Code.
Run high-voltage leads from disconnect to unit control box and connect to contactor.
Remove panels, check for shipping damage, verify all labels, purge gas piping, check wiring.
Adjust gas input by measuring flow at meter or manifold pressure; change orifices if needed.
Inspect and clean/replace air filters monthly; never operate unit without a filter.
