1. Press the [MENU] Key select 18 OPTSIG, press the [MENU] Key, then select the 5TONE function.
2. Press the [MENU] Key select 22 S-INFO, press the [MENU] Key, then select pre-code signal
group (1-15). (The 5Tone Signal must be saved first in the PC software setting under 5TONE
settings)
3. If properly set up on Menu 18, your radio will open the squelch when it receives the required
5TONE signal.
4. Press the [CALL] Key to send the same 5TONE you have selected in Menu 22.
