When Traction Control and ESC are turned off,
t
he Traction Off light i and ESC Off light g
come on and stay on in the instrument cluster.
When Traction Control and ESC are turned back
on, the Traction Off light i and ESC Off light
g displayed in the instrument cluster will turn
off. The appropriate message may display in
the DIC.
Adding accessories can affect the
vehicle performance. See Accessories and
Modifications 3187.
Cruise Control
If equipped, cruise control allows the vehicle
to maintain aset speed of 40 km/h (25 mph)
or more without keeping your foot on the
accelerator pedal. Cruise control does not work
at speeds below 40 km/h (25 mph).

Cruise c
ontrol can be dangerous where you
cannot drive safely at asteady speed. Do
not use cruise control on winding roads or
in heavy traffic.

Cruise control can be dangerous on slippery
roads. On such roads, fast changes in tire
traction can cause excessive wheel slip, and
you could lose control. Do not use cruise
control on slippery roads.
Cruise control will disengage if:

he Traction Control System (TCS) or
StabiliTrak/Electronic Stability Control
(ESC) system has activated or been
disabled. See Traction Control/Electronic
Stability Control 3156.
•
A collision alert occurs. See Forward
Collision Alert (FCA) System 3173.
•
There is afault in the system.
•
The brakes are applied.
When road conditions allow for cruise control
to be safely used, cruise control can be turned
on again.

: Press to turn cruise control on or off. The
cruise control indicator appears white when
cruise control is turned on. See Cruise Control
Light 396.
RES+: If cruise control is already engaged, press
the thumbwheel up to increase the set speed.
If there is aset speed in memory, press up
briefly to engage cruise control at the previous
set speed.
SET−: If cruise control is already on, briefly press
the thumbwheel down to set the cruise speed
and engage cruise control. If cruise control is
already engaged, press down to decrease the
set cruise speed.
