THE PHONES SETUP
The PHONES SETUP gives you the option whether the phones output shall playback music from the MAIN or
RECORD level.
The following chart provides an overview of all menu items, which can be adjusted in the PHONES SETUP. The
factory settings (defaults) are listed in brackets. Subsequent to the chart you will find a detailed description of the
menu items.

Phones output PHONES 1
Selects playback level MAIN or RECORD HP-2-> (MAIN) / RECORD
The PHONES SETUP MENU is activated by pushing down the switch key (14) on the front panel or by longer
pressing the MODE button (approx. 2 sec) on your remote control. The display indicates the activation by showing
PHONES SETUP, followed by the first menu item.
To exit and automatically save the menu push down the switch key (14) or press the MENU button on your remote
control.
NOTICE: If the RECORD level is set to FIX in the RECORD SETUP, you can’t select the signals from the RECORD
level.
Phones output Here you select, which level, RECORD or MAIN, you want to listen to on the headphones
PHONES 1 output PHONES 1.
With the left rotary switch or the navigation buttons
on your remote control select the
menu item HP-1.
With the right rotary switch or the navigation buttons
on your remote control you may
choose between:
MAIN The headphones output PHONES 1 provides the selected source of the MAIN
level.
RECORD The headphones output PHONES 1 provides the selected source of the
RECORD level.
Phones output Here you select, which level, RECORD or MAIN, you want to listen to on the headphones
PHONES 2 output. PHONES 2.
With the left rotary switch or the navigation buttons
on your remote control select the
menu item HP-2.
With the right rotary switch or the navigation buttons
on your remote control you may
choose between:
MAIN The headphones output PHONES 2 provides the selected source of the MAIN
level.
RECORD The headphones output PHONES 2 provides the selected source of the
RECORD level.
