Driving preparation
You should do the following checks and
adjustments before you drive your vehicle:
1Make sure all windowsmirrors and
outside lights are clean and unobstructed.
Remove frostsnow and ice stockpiling
above.
2Check that the hood and the trunk are
fully closed.
3Visually check the status of the tires. If a
tire looks slow, use a gauge to check its
pressure.
4 Check that any items you may be
carrying are stored properly or fasten down
securely.
5Check the seat adjustment (refer to 50
th
page ).
6 Check the adjustment of inside and
outside mirrors (refer to 100
th
page ).
7Check the steering wheel adjustment
(refer to 39
th
page).
8Make sure the doors are securely closed
and locked.
9Fasten your seat belt. Check that your
passengers have fastened their seat belts
(refer to 6
th
page).
10Turn the ignition switch to the position
of on( ), and check the indicators in the
instrument panel.
11Start the engine (refer to 100
th
page).
12Check the gauges and indicators in the
instrument panel (refer to 26
th
page).
