If you want to push car to start engine, you
must observe the explanation strictly as
following:
1Open the hood, and check the physical
condition of the battery. (Refer to 141
st
page). In the very cold weather, check the
condition of the electrolyte, if it seems
slushy or frozen; do not to push starting
until it thaws.
Friendly tips
If the battery sits in extreme cold, the
electrolyte inside can freeze. Attempt to
push starting with a frozen battery can
cause it to rupture.
2Turn off all the electrical accessories
(A/Csound systemlights, ect. ). Put the
transmission in Neutral or Park, and set the
parking brake.
3. Connect on jumper cable to the positive
(+) terminal on your battery of BYD,
connect the other end to the positive (+)
terminal on the booster battery.
4Connect the second jumper cable to the
negative (-) terminal on the booster battery,
connect the other end to the grounding strap
as shown. Do not connect this jumper cable
to any other part of the engine.
