6.1 Make sure the percolator’s lid is in the right position and
that it’s properly put on.
DURING BREWING
6.2 Do not remove the percolator’s lid during brewing!
MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF WATER
6.3 Never ll more than 6 cups of water in our small percolators
and never more than 10 cups in our large percolators.
IMPORTANT
6.4 Pull the percolator lid straight up. Grab the knob on the lid.
The knob could be damaged if the lid is pulled sideways.
Do not use the percolator if the knob is damaged.
CLEANING OF THE LEVEL TUBE BY THE HANDLE
6.5 On top of the handle there is a small plug. Pull it to clean
the level tube inside. Use a pipe-cleaner.
7. Hints and advice
7.1 Use nd-grind coffee or coarse-grind coffee in the
percolator. Coarse-grind coffee is more uneconomical.
7.2 There is special coarse-grinded coffee suitable for
percolators.
7.3 When using ne-grind coffee there might be some coffee
grounds in the percolator. Let the coffee sit for som minutes
after the brewing is completed. This will make the coffee
grounds sink to the bottom.
7.4 Rinse the coffee basket with cold water before brewing
to prevent coffee grounds from falling down into the
percolator.
7.5 Do not over dose the coffee basket. Always spare at least
1 cm to the upper part of the basket.
