DRUG CHAMBER, MASKS AND THEIR CONNECTOR,
MOUTHPIECE AND NOSEPIECE can be disinfected using denatured
alcohol or hypochlorite-based solution, easily available in pharmacies.
Before re-using these accessories, rinse them with warm water until all
traces of disinfectant have been removed, dry and store in a dry and non-
dusty environment
MOUTHPIECE and NOSEPIECE can be disinfected by boiling in water
for about 10 minutes or using hot steam sterilising devices (commonly used
to disinfect accessories and components for children and infants). Once
boiled/disinfected, leave to cool and dry in the open.
DO NOT USE A MICROWAVE OVEN TO STERILISE THE DEVICE OR ACCESSORIES
The KIWI Plus device does not contain any part that requires maintenance and/or lubrication. However, it is
necessary to perform a few simple checks to verify the functionality and safety of the device before each use. Pull out
the device from the box and always check for any visible damage; pay particular attention to cracks in the plastic that
could expose some electrical components.
Verify that the drug chamber has not been broken from previous use.
