Azur 540R V2 6.1 Audio Video Receiver
The 540R continues Cambridge Audio’s tradition of
producing stunning equipment while offering outstanding
value for money. It is simple and incredibly easy to use
and operate. In addition to offering everything needed
for the perfect home cinema set-up, the 540R gives
unbeatable stereo performance in this category.
The updated 540R now features an On Screen
Display (OSD) and for easier multi-room integration, a
Control Bus In is fitted. It also benefits from a highly
ergonomic navigator style Azur remote control.
Elsewhere, an RS232C port enables software
updating and an improved six channel volume control IC
is used. The 540R is capable of processing all the
latest home cinema decoders and delivers a powerful
80 watts RMS across each of its six channels or 100
watts in stereo or 5.1 modes.
The built-in digital tuner receives FM/MW broadcasts
with 30 station presets and RDS. To control video,
optical, composite etc, the 540R features a host of
assignable inputs and outputs. Contained within a
stylish, aluminium fronted case; the 540R features an
acoustically damped chassis.
