Azur 540R V3 HDMI AV Receiver
Cambridge Audio is proud to announce the latest version
of its mid range 540R receiver. The 540Rv3 boasts HDMI
connectivity, with 2 inputs and 1 output, which can switch
any signal up to and including HDMI 1.3 and 1080p video
All the 540Rv3’s audio and video inputs are fully
assignable for ease of use. Added to this, is the ability to
control the unit over RS232, or by an IR input socket on
the rear panel, making this unit ideally suited for Custom
install use. The 540Rv3 offers the same high quality audio
performance that users have come to expect from
Cambridge Audio, and is equally at home playing music and
movies.
Not only is the 540R’s on-board CS493263 multi-channel
DAC capable of decoding Dolby Digital Surround 6.1 EX and
DTS ES 6.1, but the receiver also processes Dolby Digital
and DTS 5.1, as well as Dolby Pro-Logic and Pro-Logic II.
Completing the package is an FM/MW tuner with 30 presets
and RDS functionality, along with a slim-line navigator style
Azur remote handset offering full control of the unit.
