What to do if pilot sparks but does not light on Camus Hydronics MICOFLAME 2?
    • D
      Donna MaldonadoAug 2, 2025
If the pilot sparks but doesn't light in your Camus Hydronics Boiler, first ensure the main manual valve is open. Then, follow the lighting instructions to bleed any air from the pilot line. If the problem persists, remove the main burner and check for any moisture or dirt in the pilot or pilot line. Also, make sure the pilot is sealed to the main burner base and all gas connections are tight.

Why does main burner light but cycles off after a few minutes on Camus Hydronics Boiler?
    • F
      Frank SmithAug 6, 2025
If the main burner of your Camus Hydronics Boiler lights but cycles off after a few minutes, you should first check that the high limit is set high enough to prevent short cycling. Also, adjust the pilot pressure to ensure a steady flame. If the issue continues, remove the main burner and adjust the pilot shield, cleaning the ignition sensor.

Why does pilot light momentarily, go out and then spark again repeatedly on Camus Hydronics MICOFLAME 2 Boiler?
    • K
      Kathy MercerAug 10, 2025
If the pilot light on your Camus Hydronics Boiler lights momentarily, goes out, and then sparks repeatedly, start by observing the pilot for proper flame and adjust it if necessary. Next, check the pilot flame signal, ensuring it's properly set to generate 1.5 µA D.C. on average. Then, remove the main burner and make sure the igniter and ground electrodes are positioned correctly, cleaning them with steel wool if needed. Finally, verify that the back of the burner box is fully engaged into the retaining slot in the combustion chamber base.

How to fix a Camus Hydronics MICOFLAME 2 Boiler that starts to whine as the temperature rise increases?
    • K
      Kristin RossAug 15, 2025
If your Camus Hydronics Boiler starts to whine as the temperature rises, first make sure all air is bled from the system. Then, check that the static pressure in the cold system is at least 15 psig. Also, check the temperature rise across the boiler to ensure adequate water flow. If necessary, increase the static water pressure and decrease the gas pressure.
