BASIC PROCEDURES

KEY POSITION TO LOCK HANDLEBAR
1. Turn key 1/4 turn
Opening the Front Storage
Compartment
1. Insert key in ignition switch.
2. Push and turn the key 1/4 turn coun-
terclockwise to the front storage
compartment position and hold
while lifting cover.
NOTE: It is possible to open the front
storage compartment with the engine
running.

2. Turn key 1/4 turn

Opening the Seat
1. Insert key in ignition switch.
2. Push and turn the key 1/4 turn clock-
wise to the seat opening position
and hold while lifting seat.

Do not force the seat past
the maximum opening angle or it
may break.
