Alternatively, the cloudiness could be due to suspended particles; add Granular Chlorine and use a SPA-BALL. High pH or total alkalinity levels can also cause cloudy water, so add pH DOWN until the pH level reads 7.2–7.6, and adjust the total alkalinity to 80–150 p.p.m. A dirty filter may also be the culprit, so replace the filter. Finally, dissolved solids can cause this issue, requiring you to empty and refill the spa.
