Battery Check
To check the power level of the mercury battery :
1
Set the film speed scale at ASA 100, the shutter speed
dial
at the "30" index. For the film speed setting, lift
up the outer ring of the shutter speed dial and turn.

Turn the EE/ Manual switching ring to "EE" and aim the
camera at the sky or other bright subject. If the exposure
indicator inside the viewfinder swings up to and over the
"16" index, the battery has sufficient power. Otherwise,
the battery must be replaced.

Life of the battery in normal use is approximately one
year . It is advisable to replace the battery when one year
passes after loading .
