● DADF
DADF is a Double-side Auto Document Feeder dedicated to stream reading.
DADF Motor (M4) is engaged in pickup, feed, and delivery, and the DADF Solenoid (SL4) releases the pressure of the Feed
Roller during 2-sided copy feeding.
DADF Motor (M4) drives to pick up and feed the original inserted face-up into the Document Pickup Tray one sheet at a time from
the top of the pile when copy, fax or scan is started. Original images are read by the Contact Image Sensor (UNIT13) when the
original is passing through the Copyboard Glass, then delivered face-down to the Document Delivery Unit.

1. DADF motor is rotated clockwise to pickup and feed an original and the Contact Image Sensor (UNIT13) reads the 1st side
of the original.
