■ Functional Configuration
Contact Image Sensor (UNIT13) reads the originals on the Copyboard Glass by being moved by the rotation of Reader Motor
(M3), which is driven according to the drive signal from the Main Controller PCB.
When the SADF / DADF is used, the original image is fed by the SADF / DADF so that the image can be read without moving
the sensor (UNIT13).

■ Functional Configuration
● SADF
SADF is a Single-side Auto Document Feeder dedicated to stream reading.
Pickup, feeding and delivery are performed using the SADF Motor (M5)
SADF Motor (M5) drives to pick up and feed the original inserted face-up into the Document Pickup Tray one sheet at a time from
the top of the pile when copy, fax or scan is started. Original images are read by the Contact Image Sensor (UNIT13) when the
original is passing through the Copyboard Glass, then delivered face-down to the Document Delivery Unit.
