Why does my Canon imageFormula DR-C225 Scanner stop scanning due to insufficient memory?
    • C
      christian15Jul 26, 2025
If the Canon Scanner memory becomes insufficient during scanning and the process stops, it might be due to scanning conditions that require a large amount of computer memory. Insufficient memory can occur if certain scanning conditions overlap. Try exiting the application, then change the scanning conditions by reducing the resolution or page size. You can also try turning off [Moire Reduction] and [Prevent bleed through and remove] to reduce the amount of memory used.

What to do if Canon Scanner is not recognized?
    • M
      megangonzalezJul 30, 2025
If your Canon Scanner is not recognized by your computer, first ensure that the scanner is properly connected with a USB cable and turned on. If it still doesn't work, your computer’s USB interface may not support the scanner, so make sure you are using the supplied USB cable. If you're using a USB hub, try connecting the scanner directly to the computer. For the DR-C225W model, verify that the Wireless switch on the back of the scanner is turned off.

Why are pages missing when I use my Canon Scanner?
    • C
      Christine HarringtonAug 4, 2025
If pages are missing when scanning with your Canon Scanner, it might be due to the scanner driver’s [Scanning Side] setting being set to [Skip blank page]. Documents with very little black may be unintentionally skipped. Try decreasing the [Set the likelihood of skipping blank page] value or select another scan mode setting such as [Simplex] or [Duplex].

What to do if my Canon imageFormula DR-C225 Scanner documents jam or double-feed?
    • J
      johndavidAug 8, 2025
If documents are jamming or double-feeding in your Canon Scanner, ensure the roller is correctly installed and clean if necessary. Static electricity can also cause pages to stick together, so fan the documents before loading them. As an alternative, you can set the feed selection lever to the non-separation position and manually feed the pages one at a time.

How to fix white lines or streaks in Canon imageFormula DR-C225 images?
    • J
      John WilliamsAug 12, 2025
If white lines or streaks appear in scanned images from your Canon Scanner, start by cleaning both sides of the scanner glass and the rollers. If there's a sticky substance like glue or correction fluid, carefully wipe the affected area. If cleaning doesn't solve the problem, the internal glass may be scratched, and you should contact your local authorized Canon dealer.

How to correct upside down scanned images from Canon Scanner?
    • G
      Gregory HoganAug 17, 2025
If scanned images from your Canon Scanner are upside down, check the scanner driver settings. In Windows, make sure the [Upside-down feeding] check box in the [Feeding] tab is cleared. In OS X, confirm that the [Upside-down feeding] check box in the [More] dialog box is cleared.

How to fix documents that feed askew on my Canon imageFormula DR-C225?
    • R
      Rodney WigginsAug 21, 2025
If documents are feeding askew (scanned images are slanted) on your Canon Scanner, align the document guides to fit the documents as closely as possible, and load the documents so that they feed straightly. Also, enable [Automatically straightens skewed] (or [Deskew]) in the scanner driver settings. If the issue persists, clean the rollers or consider roller replacement or other maintenance.
