Why is my Canon imageFORMULA P-215II Scanner not recognized by my computer?

There are several reasons why your Canon Scanner might not be recognized: * Ensure the scanner is properly connected to the computer with a USB cable. * Confirm that the scanner is turned on. * The computer's USB interface may not support the scanner. * Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the scanner. * If you're using a USB hub, try connecting the scanner directly to the computer. * If the Auto Start switch on the scanner is set to ON, you can only scan with the built-in application, CaptureOnTouch Lite. * If you are using Windows and see "?", "!", or "x" icons for the scanner in Device Manager, delete the scanner in Device Manager and reinstall the scanner driver.
