obstructs the carriage movement;
remove foreign material.
2) Smearing or scratches on the timing
slit film;
clean the timing slit film.

- Timing slit film
- Carriage unit
- Logic board
Line feed error [6000] 3 times An error occurred in the LF
encoder signal.
1) Part replacement:
- Timing slit disk film
- Logic board

SF cam sensor

[5700] 5 times An error occurred in the
ASF cam sensor (during
paper feeding from the rear
tray).
1) Part replacement:
- ASF / PE sensor unit
- Drive unit
