Why does my Canon Projector shut down?

  Your Canon Projector might be shutting down due to several reasons. The air intake or exhaust vents could be blocked, causing the projector to overheat and shut down automatically. Ensure these vents are unblocked. It could also be due to an improper operating environment. The projector should be operated in an environment between 0°C to 40°C. If you are using the projector at a high altitude between 1500 m to 3000 m, set it to the high altitude mode.

Also, check if the key lock is on. If the STATUS LED lights up when you press the POWER button, press and hold the INPUT button on the operation panel or the AUTO PC button on the remote control to clear the key lock.

  If the image from your Canon Projector isn't displaying correctly, consider these solutions: If the image shifts left or right with analog PC inputs or flickers, use the AUTO PC function. If the image is reversed top/bottom or left/right, check the Projector Position settings under Setup > Advanced to correct the ceiling mounting/rear projection setup. If you are using a computer cable, ensure that all of the pins connect. Use the connector cable included with the projector or a commercially available computer cable in which all of the pins connect.
